Counseling and Healing Arts provides a holistic treatment therapy approach to help people with their mental and physical health. We provide services for a variety of concerns including drug and alcohol abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, marriage and family problems as well as everyday life challenges. We also offer specialized counseling services for clients with eating disorders or disordered eating.


Eating Disorder - Healing

Eating Disorders are serious, life altering thoughts and behaviors that include concerns regarding weight and food. Oftentimes the thoughts and behaviors go beyond food and involve emotional disturbances. Common eating disorders include anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder. Eating disorders can have a severe impact mentally and physically on a person and can have life threatening consequences. Professional help is necessary for someone with an eating disorder and counseling is one of the most effective treatment options. Early treatment and diagnosis significantly enhances a person's recovery.

Our office provides case-by-case comprehensive therapeutic care to our clients as needed.

This care may include:

Screening and assessment of behavioral health disorders, comprehensive treatment plan, care coordination and case management with other providers, diagnosis based on the DSM-V and providing therapeutic services including the management of short term and long term mental illness. We also have therapists that specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, substance use, trauma, LGBTQ+ and treating children, teens and adults.

We can help facilitate hospitalizations and residential care if a higher level of care is necessary. We do work with outside agencies if needed to help promote the coordination of biological, psychological, medical and social causes of behavioral health care.
